Role: HGV Drivers

Location: Crawley Heathfield, Croydon and Surrounding Areas

Hours: Early Starts minimum 10 hours guaranteed per shift

Pay: Up to £19.00 an Hour

Start: Immediate start required

We have multiple opportunities available for experienced HGV Drivers across locations covering Crawley, Heathfield, Croydon and surrounding areas.

We are looking for reliable, professional and hardworking HGV Drivers who are looking for steady hours, regular work and a long-term opportunity. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to move into a permanent position following a successful 12-week temporary period.

Duties of HGV Drivers:

• Complete deliveries safely, efficiently and on time
• Load and unload goods safely where required
• Perform some heavy lifting and manual handling
• Palletised work and long haul
• Plan efficient delivery routes and navigate effectively
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks
• Report any vehicle defects or maintenance issues promptly
• Ensure all paperwork and delivery documentation is completed correctly
• Provide excellent customer service at every delivery
• Follow all relevant road safety, transport and company procedures
• Ensure goods are handled carefully and delivered in good condition
• Communicate effectively with the transport team and customers

Requirements of HGV Drivers:

• Valid HGV Driving Licence, CPC qualification and Tacho Card
• Previous HGV delivery experience
• Good knowledge of London and West Sussex is advantageous
• Ability to carry out manual handling and heavy lifting
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules
• Immediate availability is essential
