Hours: 18:00-06:00, 4 on 4 off

Pay: £13.71 p/h

Extrastaff are delighted to be recruiting for a reliable and flexible Recycling Operative to join an ever-growing team at a busy indoor plastic recycling facility. This role involves moving materials efficiently around the plant, supporting the recycling process, and ensuring a clean and safe working environment.

Duties of a Recycling Operative:

• Operate baler with stillage
• Remove stillage from various parts of the warehouse
• Move waste materials to designated processing areas
• Assist with sorting and handling recyclable plastics when required
• Conduct daily equipment checks and report any faults or maintenance needs
• Watch over and foresee any potential hazards that might bring the sortation lines to a halt. To be able to deal with blockages when they occur
• Follow all health and safety procedures and site regulations
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas
