Role: Drivers Mate

Location: Dartford

Hours: 6am to 5pm or 10am to 9pm

Operating Monday to Saturday

Pay: £13.30 per hour

Extrastaff are currently recruiting for Drivers Mates, working for the John Lewis Partnership, one of the UK’s largest retail brands.

Full training provided induction + three days training

Duties for Drivers Mates:

• Working as part of a two-man crew carrying out home deliveries & installations of furniture & white goods (including televisions, washing machines, fridge freezers, beds, sofas, etc.)
• Manual handling included you will be required to deliver to the customers room of choice
• Use of scanning devices & completion of paperwork
• Communicating via mobile directly with the customer regarding delivery times

Requirements for Drivers Mates:

• Good customer service skills
• Flexibility regarding shifts times & days available
• Good telephone manner
• Reliability
• Good communication skills
• Must have previous drivers mate experience
