Role: Van Drivers

Location: Dartford & the surrounding areas

Hours: Various – 6am to 8am start time – average 8 to 10 hour shifts

Pay: £13.50 per hour – minimum 8 hours pay – overtime after 8 hours at £20.25 per hour

Extrastaff are currently recruiting Van Drivers.

Companies operating in a wide range of sectors – flooring, general haulage, paper and packaging supplies, food products, metal, timber, building materials, tyres, medical supplies, etc.

Van Driver Duties:

• Multi-drop & long distance deliveries
• Loading and/or unloading of vehicle
• Use of pump truck – electric or manual
• Completion of paperwork & use of PDA/scanning device
• Securing load – use of ratchet straps
• Use of curtain side or tail lift vehicles
• Possible cash handling

Requirements for Van Drivers:

• UK driving licence (B category) – max 6 points on licence
• Excellent customer service skills
• Relevant experience essential
• Drive the vehicle safely and in compliance with the relevant rules and regulations
