We are working with a global freight forwarding business recruiting for permanent Administrators to join their growing team, due to the company being awarded new contracts. These roles are permanent and based in the Rochester area of Kent with a starting salary between £25,000 - £25,700 per annum.
The administrative task will be to service one of the company's key accounts and ensuring their web store is functioning efficiently and customer enquiries are handled quickly as well as the processing of orders. The role will dual between office and warehousing, requiring at times the need to pick orders or source an item of stock for a customer within the warehouse. This position requires flexibility, working a rota pattern any 5 shifts from 7 working days, per week. Hours of work will be based between 08:00 & 18:00, with the contract being 38.75 hours per week.
This role will require high standards of customer service and the ability to confidential handle internal and external enquiries. The Administration team are regularly required at departmental meetings and oversee the management of stock. The success of the role is measured using set KPIs as well as anonymous service checks and feedback from the senior management. Reporting in to the Distribution Centre Manager, this role is suited to an individual with prior logistics admin experience and/or those looking to progress with a global brand that prides itself on promoting from within.
Applicants should be confident with all Microsoft based IT systems, with training given on all other internal systems and programmes.
